Consider room temperature, water volume and your livestock’s needs when choosing a heater. Tank-size ranges are supplier recommendations, not a guarantee of performance in every setup.

Built-in protection, with careful setup

The manufacturer lists dry-run power-off with an “Er” alert and overheat shutoff above 95°F (35°C) with an “EE” alert. These features do not replace correct installation and regular temperature checks.

Keep the heater fully submerged with good water circulation, and do not bury it in sand or mud. Keep the external controller outside the water. Disconnect power before maintenance and follow the manufacturer’s cooling instructions before removing the heater.
